During all the long parts with just drums and guitar screech noises, the bass player sometimes hits a random note. Its usually open E or A. When the vocals/rhythm guitar come in every now and then, you play one of these two riffs, they change on and off. Riff 1: G|----------||----------||----------| D|----------||----------||----4-----| A|-5--4--2--||-5--4--2--||-5-----2--| E|----------||----------||----------| Riff 2: G---5---5---4---4---- D-------------------- A-3---3---2---2---0~- E-------------------- The live version of this song (the only one i've heard) sounds like it has a distorted bass, and maybe another affect only used in some spots.
