The Fall - "Jawbone & the Air-Rifle"
from the album Hex Enduction Hour, released 1982
BASS tabbed by: Elaine "Len" Will

I switched to bass from guitar about a year ago,
on which I can pretty much only play songs by the Fall
and Joy Division. There is obviously no demand
for JD tabs; there's enough on the OLGA already.
But I noted that there weren't enough Fall tabs,
at least not for the songs I'd figured out.

verse: (I used to play this on the G, but I think that's too high)
G|---------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------|
A|-------3-1-----3-1---------------|
E|--3-3------3-3-----3-3-3-3-3-1---|

repeat that a few times and then sorta jam on the open A

"chorus":
G|------------------------------14--11------------|
D|--------11-11--14-14--11-11----------14-14-14---|
A|--12-12-----------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------| x3

and then: ("One is cursed and one is borne")

G|--11-14--11-------11--14-11-------|
D|-------------14--------------14---|
A|----------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------|

back to verse, then something like this:

G|--------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|--------------------------------------------|
E|--3--3-3--3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-2-2--0--0-0--0-0--|

when this passage is repeated again near the end of the song,
it's like this or several variations thereof:

G|----------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------|
A|-------------------2--------------|
E|--3--3-3--3-3--2-3---3-2-0--0-0---| etc.
