Conventions : ------------- Rythm is printed under the Tabs with dots for every beat, a space for each quarter of beat, and, for some particularly speedy ones a decomposition in 8th of beat as in : 123456781 .°°°-°°°. Also, on some bars, you'll find letters meaning A=10, B=11, and so on (C,D and E are 12, 13 and 14 here) An "-x-" means a muted note (one that is not fingered cleanly and makes a percussive sound rather than a clear tone), and is the same note than the previous one on the same string , that is : --7-x-- means --7-7-- , with the second 'muted' other signs : ~ (~~~) mean a vibrato on the note (for the specified duration) \ (or / ) means a slide down (or up) from the note p means a pull : eg. 7p5 means you play 7 and you pull off to 5 h means a hammer-on : eg. 5p7 means you play 5 and you hammer on 7 Hope you'll love it !...
