Move Over - Slade

I take most of this from memory; the disc is no longer available.

This was an original done by Janis Joplin back in the late 60's.
Your notes during the verse must follow exactly with the words as
they're being sung. If you have one of the tracks, so much the
better, it will give you a feel for the rhythms.

4/4 Time, Intro. Hit the first note on the ninth beat in.
Do this 4 times then go to the verse.
G------------------------------------|
D------------------------------------|
A--------5-------5--------5--------5-|
E------------------------------------|

1st and 2nd Verse:
G------------------------------|-------7-5--55----------|
D-------S56-5--3--53----H35-3--|---H57-----5---5--7-----|
A-----5--------------5---------|------------------------|
E------------------------------|------------------------|

G----------------------------------------|
D--------3S56-5--333--------3-------3----|
A----5-5-------------5-----5--5---5---5--|
E---------------------5--55-----5--------|

Immediately after there's this lick in the pause between verses,
that starts right at the end of the 'maybe ya can'. Use this as
a 'bassis' for improv you can do much with it.
Immediately at the end of this riff, you start right into the
second verse.

Bass Riff at Pause:
G------------------H57-----------------|
D--------444---S57---------------------|
A----555-------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------|

Bridge:
                                          (Repeat X2)
G-------------------------------------------------|
D--------1-0--------------------------------------|

A----------------------------------------------------|
E----34555555555555555-88888888-88-7-66-5-88-7-66-5--|

Lead guitar solo (do this at least twice):
G--------------------|-------------------------------------|
D--------------------|---------------3----------3----------|
A--555555555555--3-5-|-5555-3------5----5-----5----5--S17--|
E--------------------|--------5-5---------3-5--------------|

After lead, back into the bridge:
Make up your mind, you're playin' with me etc. etc.

Outro:
this is similar to verse but you can do some or all of this in
the upper registers and of course, along with the singer.
Enjoy and have fun with it.
