Intro

D, Am

Verse

D, G

Dear sir did I see you fleeting?
I care for your heart but not for it beating

Fell me down
You’re spreading bad things about me all over town

D
But I’ll show no frown

Am, G
Because all over town

D, Am
Yes all over town

G
There are people who would

Bm*
Undermine you if they could

Bm

D, G
What do you see when you see me sir?
The very same thing that makes you bitter?

A, Em
See you’ll say all these outrageous things,
That’s what you’ll do
Yes but you’re no poet man you just want
Everyone looking at you

D,
So I’ll show no frown

Am, G
Because all over town

D
Yes all over town

Am, G
There are people who would

Bm*
Undermine you if they could

Yes all over this town
There are people who would
Undermine me if they could
Won’t let them in
