It sounds best with a flatpicking on an acoustic guitar. Try to play a G(6) instead of the G in the line "So there ain't much ...". That sounds pretty cool. Also try to play a D(9) instead of the D in some parts of the song, so it doesn't sound the same all the time. The Intro- and Outro Part : |D(9)- - -|D(9)- - D| can be picked something like that : Hammer /\ e |0-----------|0-----0-2---| b |3--3--------|3--3----3---| g |2-----2-----|2-------2---| D |0-----------|0-------0---| E |------------|------------| A |------------|------------| Additional Chords D/F# D(9) G(6) A4 e 2 | - x - - e 0 | - - - - e 0 | - - - - e 0 | - - - - b 3 | - - x - b 3 | - - x - b 3 | - - x - b 3 | - - x - g 2 | - x - - g 2 | - x - - g 0 | - - - - g 2 | - x - - D x | - - - - D 0 | - - - - D 0 | - - - - D 2 | - x - - A x | - - - - A x | - - - - A 2 | - x - - A 0 | - - - - E 2 | - x - - E x | - - - - E 3 | - - x - E x | - - - -
