This is a very pretty greek/middle eastern sounding piece which
is really an American piece written in the 1950's for folkdancers.
It accompanies the dance "MISIRLOU", usually done in 9/8.

Dick Dale and the Del-Tones popularized Miserlou in 1962.  Recently, the Pulp
Fiction soundtrack introduced another generation to the tune and now the black 
eyed peace.
