Tabbed by: Alex Brown

Tuning: standard

this should have been a single, but i guess it insulted the NME kids who would've bought
too much.

Kick-ass little girl, going to a party
A D

F#m D
gonna spin some records for a jack and coke

next bit the same:

wasted little DJs filling up the floor and
your records are all boring cos you're cool as hell

everybody's flying everybody's sliding
slowly suiciding in a tiled cell
D
a tiled cell

for the chords in the second bit, you can do a bit of a thing like...
    A E D
e|-----------------------------|
B|--2-3-2---------3-5-3--------|
G|--2-4-2---------2-4-2--------| but with the correct rhythm.

no good time to get erased.
              A B D
no good time to sink into the ground.

Bridgey bit:

e|------------------|
B|---2--------------|
G|---2--------------| x a few
D|---2--------------|
A|---0-0-0-0-0-0-0--|
E|-3----------------|

second verse as first:

graphic designer, you could look no finer
in your eyeliner and your silas jeans
living in the east-end, with your teenage girlfriend
everyday's a weekend in a real cool scene.

cos everybody's flying, slippin and a'slidin
slowly suicidin in a tiled cell.
you'll go out together, holdin hands forever
in shiny boots of leather lookin like lou reed.

just like lou reed

and chorus the same but twice

then the bridgey bit, then the solo, which starts over the A of the bridge at the end,
the rhythm guitar going into the verses (as indicated) and chorus.

G|-7b9-7b9-7b9~~----------|
D|------------------------|
A|--------------------5b7-|
E|------------------------|

one last chorus and bridgey bit, then you're done. i think this is fairly accurate, or
least enough to go on. there's a lot of fills and stuff that can be added to taste.
if you will.

really good version of this on the Burnt to Bitz live album.

thanks!!

Alex
