Song: On Your Wings Band: Iron and Wine Album: Our Endless Numbered Days \:Slide down /:Slide up ...You can use a capo third frett if you want to be lazy... Ok, so, this tab sounds right to me, this is the product of much trial and error, so now believe it is to the right level of accuracy. This song has two parts, a slide part (so use a slide, obviously) and a muted part. the slide part is pretty simple, it is centered around a few different riffs: |----------------|------------------------------| |--5-/-8---------|---------11-\-10-\-8-\-6-/-8--| |---------5-/-7--|--7-\-5-----------------------| |----------------|------------------------------| |----------------|------------------------------| |----------------|------------------------------| and then at the end there's a kind of solo riff thrown in: |-------------------------------| |--6-/-8-6-8-6--6-/-8-6-8-11-8--| |-------------------------------| |-------------------------------| |-------------------------------| |-------------------------------| There a few other minor things thrown in that you can figure out pretty fast Now the muted part is a little bit more difficult, you hit a power G chord, and then a few muted strings after: |----------------------| |----------------------| |-----------3-(2)------| |-------3------7--5-3--| |--5-5----5------------| |--3-3-----------------| And then at the end of the verses he throws in this little riff: |------------------------------------------------------------| |------------------------------------------------------------| |-------------------------------------------------3-(2)------| |--------10----------10---------8-------8-----3------7--5-3--| |--10-10----10-10-10----10--8-8---8-8-8---5-5---5------------| |--8--8-----8--8--8-----8---6-6---6-6-6---3-3----------------| So there it is, listen for timing and whatnot and you'll be set, I'm almost positive this is accurate, so if your find something wrong, let me know: FrenzyFreak05@aim.com
