For Amanda (dancefloorsex), the self-proclaimed "horrible guitarist".

Artist: Jack Off Jill

Song: Cinamon Spider

Album: Clear Hearts Grey Flowers

Tabbed By Jade Havok 13 (with help from her dad).

Tuning is standard, and the distortion is heavy.

The intro is way rad, and it's simpler than you think (no flanger is involved like I thought), but it's hard to explain in a tab. In between the

you do a harmonic thing. Starting at the seventh fret, you slide down while strumming the low 'E' string, towards the headstock of the guitar (Or, towards the first fret, if you will). You mute the string, creating a sort of harmonic effect. If this doesn't make any sense, I don't know how else to tell you how to do it besides actually SHOW you, in person, how to do it. This "harmonic slide" is only done in the intro.

Intro:

---------------------------------------

---------------------------------------

-5/7----5/7----5/7---5-7-7-7-8-10-(10)-

-5/7----5/7----5/7---5-7-7-7-8-10-(10)-

-3/5----3/7----5/7---3-5-5-5-6--8--(8)-

|---/////*--/////*-/////*---------------| Four times.

Now, the verse is just the same, except there is not a "harmonic slide" thing.

Verse:

---------------------------------------

---------------------------------------

-5/7----5/7----5/7---5-7-7-7-8-10-(10)-

-5/7----5/7----5/7---5-7-7-7-8-10-(10)-

-3/5----3/7----5/7---3-5-5-5-6--8--(8)-

|---------------------------------------| Four times.

Chorus: (Strumming not shown cuz I'm lazy.)

-----------------------------

-----------------------------

-7-7-7--101010--8-8-8--------

-7-7-7--101010--8-8-8--8-8-8-

-5-5-5---8-8-8--6-6-6--8-8-8-

|-----------------------6-6-6-| Four times.

Verse again, chorus again and the interlude/bridge thing is just the same as the verse. The last chorus is played twice.

Lyrics:

A witch will burn

When she's thrown into the fire

Not her she'll peel and writhe

But never expire

She crawls on webs of lies

I die up inside her

To take what's mine

That bitch, the cinnamon spider

I won't try

And I everytime I tell that lie, I live without guilt

And I won't cry

And I hope you love your life

And live with your guilt

Consumed by hate and guilt

She'll never retire

Too old to fix

Too dead to ever acquire

Slit wrists- talk ***

But she will never inspire a plan to save herself

The cinnamon spider

I won't try

And everytime I tell that lie, I live without guilt

And I won't cry

And I hope you love your life

And live with your guilt

Bit heads off those who fail and try to imply her

Forlorn dispised

I am the cinnamon spider

I won't try

And everytime I tell that lie, I live without guilt

And I won't cry

And I hope you love your life

And live with your guilt

And I am fine

And I'll learn to take what's mine

And live without guilt

Oh yeah
