Sunlight beats down hard here Count the cracks in the ground
At night I dream of the hummingbird Feel the beating of its wings

And we sleep through days of flood and fire At night we fly above this town
And if you only had once choice my dear Would you fly or would you sing?

CHORUS

Typical McRae pattern... has he not got RSI yet? Apart from watch out for the different
first note with the G being pinched to give it a bit of extra OOMPH, I assume...

  G Cadd9
E---------3---------------3---------------3---------------3-------|
B-3---------3---3---3-------3---3---3-------3---3---3-------3---3-|

                                                    Now we're coming

  G Cadd9

  down Now we're coming

  G Cadd9
E---------3---------------3---------------3---------------3-------|
B---3-------3---3---3-------3---3---3-------3---3---3-------3---3-|

E-3-----3-----3---3-----3-----3-----------------------------------|
  down We're coming

  G Cadd9

...and then you have the "And in a year of new beginnings..." nonsence with the verse
picking pattern and then "Here she comes... hummingbird..." over the chorus pattern
for what seems like eternity until the end...

And that's it... nice song. Any comments (no ornithologists please...) to
