Song: Gratitude
Artist: Pax 217
CD: Two Seventeen

Tabbed by Deren: (deren_s@hotmail.com)

NOTES: hey all, this is my second attempt to tab a Pax 217 song,
As always, i put lyrics at the bottom of each section so you will know
what part is played when. Drop D tuning (i know its not how they play it
but it sounds almost 100% correct).

INTRO:

Skwid smacks out a phat drum loop while Dave starts the “get up get up
get up with the gratitude” part. When he starts to sing “so what the heck,
you think you cant talk to me” start this intro and verse rift:

PHAT DISTORTION

e-x-x-x---x-x-x----
b-x-x-x---x-x-x----
g-x-x-x---x-x-x----
d-0-0-0---0-7-8---- repeat as needed throughout the verses.
a-0-0-0---0-7-8----
D-0-0-0---0-7-8----

for the intro play the second part 0-7-8 first before going to the main rift.

“As a matter of fact, this band means more to me than I can understand...”

PRECHORUS:

e-x-x-x---
b-x-x-x---
g-x-x-x---
d-0-7-9--- repeat as needed... A little faster than the verse rift
a-0-7-9---
D-0-7-9---

“Whoooah whooa, I sing a simple song for you, a song of gratitude”

CHORUS:

e-x-x-x
b-x-x-x
g-x-x-x
d-x-x-x
a-x-x-x
D-0h7h9 play that really fast.

“Gotta gotta geta geta gratitude”

the timing in this song is pretty tough, so listen for the cd to get it right.
