The Pointer Sisters "Fire" The measures are real easy, the timing is simple. Play with it, and throw in some loops. At the bottom I threw in some simple ideas. ( This is repeated through the song ) G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4---4-----4---4-4-----4---4---4-----4------- E--------6-6---------6-6-----------6-6--------- G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4---6-6------6---6-6-----6---------- E------6-6---------6-6----------6-6------------ G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4--4-4-----4---6-----6--6-6-----6--- E------6-6--------6-6-------6-6--------6-6----- G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4--4-4-----4------------------------ E------6-6--------6-6-------------------------- ( End Chorus) oooooo.... fire G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--6-6-6-6-6-6-6-8-8-8-8-8-8-8--back to the top E---------------------------------------------- There's an interlude after the second verse and chorus that is just a mixture of the 4th 6th & 8th fret played on the D string. I'm not including that, cus you'll want to really add something so your not board. If your just learning, then start with the 6th, play it a few times, then go to the 4th, back to the 6th, back 4th, 6th, 8th, and repeat. Got it? :-) ( Fade out loop - how I play it ) G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4---4-----4---4-4-6-4-6---4---4-----4------- E--------6-6-----------------------6-6--------- G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4---4-----4---6-4--------------------------- E--------6-6----------repeat till the end------ ( Mix I throw in second verse ) G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4---4-----4---4-4-----4---4---4-----4------- E--------6-6---------6-6-----------6-6--------- G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4---6-6--4-4-6---6-6-----6---------- E------6-6----------------------6-6------------ G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4--4-4-----4---6--4-4-6--6-6-----6-- E------6-6--------6-6-------------------6-6---- G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--4-4-----4--4-4-----4------------------------ E------6-6--------6-6-------------------------- ( Chorus Mix I Play ) ooooo... fire G---------------------------------------------- D---------------------------------------------- A--6---4-6-6-6-6-8---6-8-8-8-8--back to the top E----6-------------8--------------------------- Originally Tab'd by -Nyte- Email NyteThorn@aol.com w/ questions comments
