Intro Tab: Can't Fight This Feeling - REO Speedwagon

Transcirption - Marc Virata

I've seen requests for this song. I can play/fake it on piano but I've
found translating this to guitar to be difficult (as you'll see). The
following tab is for the intro. If people can figure out how to avoid
the finger stretches (alternate tunings?) let me know. If there's
interest, I'll continue tabbing the entire song as I play it on piano.
Comments are appreciated.

I've separated the tab into bass and guitar parts. "( )"'s indicate
sustained notes played separately. Rhythm is approximated by spacing, but
the timing on the bass and guitar parts are the same (bass tab numbers
directly below guitar tab numbers are played at the same time).

Guitar
E------------0-----------0-----------0-----------0-
B---0--2-----------0-----------------------0------- (no, I can't play
G-2----2-----------2-----------2-----------2------- this myself easily
D---------2-----2-----2-----2--4--------------2---- with a 2nd fret to
A---------------------------------7-----7---------- 7th fret span)
E--------------------------------------------------

Bass
G------1--------1--1--------1--1--------1--1-------

Guitar
E------------0-----------0-----------0-----------0-
B---0--2-----------0-----------2-----------0-------
G-2----2-----------2-----------4-----------2-------
D---------2-----2-----2-----2-----------------2----
A---------------------------------7-----7----------
E--------------------------------------------------

Bass
D------4--------4--4--------4--4--------4--4-------

Guitar
E------------0---------------------------------
B---0--2-----------0--------(0)----------------
G-2----2-----------2-----(1)-----2-------------
D---------2-----2-----(2)--------4-------------
A--------------------------------5--5--4--0--2-
E-----------------------------------------2--4-

Bass
D------0--------0--0-------------0--------1----

Now if someone can find a way to avoid these finger spans and possibly
combine the bass part to the guitar, then please let me know. I can use
this knowledge to continue tabbing the rest of the song. If you
play these notes on piano, it will be a lot easier and I think sounds
pretty much like the real version. Knowing the intro is the basis for
much of the song. Any insight is appreciated.
