---------------------------------------------------------------------------
TAB done by Menno Luitjes, 06-04-1994

Play this clean:
(original is on bass, but i don't have one)
e|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
B|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
G|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------------
E|--9---12--9--0----2--/-9------9-----12--9----0--2---/-7-------/-9----10..
   'If i sa-haw you now' 'Could ....

e.-------------------[BASS-SOLO]
B.-------------------
G.-------------------
D.-------------------
A.-------------------
E..10--------5-5-5---
                'Do you ....

And at 'ME' we switch over to distortion and play the guitar part:
(very gently)
e|------------[FIG1]
B|------------
G|------------
D|--7------7--
A|--7------7--
E|--5-(..)-5--

   'Like i dream ...

(And then suddenly hard)
e|-----------------[FIG2]
B|-----------------
G|-----------------
D|--5-5--10-10--7--
A|--5-5--10-10--7--
E|--3-3---8--8--5--
               ^^^BANG!

Play [fig1] again under:
   'Do you ...'

(resuming gently)
e|-------------------[FIG3]
B|-------------------
G|----7----5----7----
D|---7----5----7-----
A|--5----3----5(..)--
E|-------------------
 '..here' 'Like i wish i ...

(just let it all out now!)
e|-------------------------------------------[FIG4]
B|-------------------------------------------
G|-------------------------------------------
D|--7-------9---------------11-------12------
A|--7-------9---------------11-------12------
E|--5(..)---7(..)------------9(..)---10(..)--
 '..you' 'You loved me be-....

Continue with [fig1] while singing the word: '..now'

Add [fig2].
Then a silent break (no figures available for this part).
Don't make a noise, just sing:

   'Does love ...

At 'END' resume playing with [fig1].

   'When two hearts ....

Play [fig2].

Play [fig1] under the line:

    'Or does it ....

At 'ON' play [fig3].

    'And beat ....

At 'WAY' do [fig1] ...

Then the 'You loved me before'-part (just like in [fig4]).

After 'Do you love me now' (also in [fig4]) do this:

e|------------------------------------------[FIG5]
B|------------------------------------------
G|--7----------------10-----5--------7---5--
D|--7----------------10-----5--------7---5--
A|--5(..)-----------/-8-----3(..)--/-5--3--
E|------------------------------------------
   'Come back to me ...

e|--------------------------------------------------[FIG6]
B|--------------------------------------------------
G|--7--------------------------------10----5-5-x----
D|--7--------------------------------10----5-3-x-5--
A|--5(..)---------------------------/-8----3-3-x-5--
E|-----------------------------------------------3--
   'Comeon comeon, come back ...

Now play the 'solo' with distortion. Goes something like this:
(I didn't place any repeat marks. Find out yourself how to play it exactly.
It's 23:00h now and i don't wan't to wake the neighbours.)
e|------------------------------------------------------------------[SOLO]
B|------------------------------------------------------------------
G|------------------------------------------------------------------
D|------------------------------------------------------------------
A|----------------------------------------------5--3--5-------------
E|--9--12--9--0--2-/-9-----9--12--9--0--2-/-5-------------0---2--5--

Let these last '5's transform into [fig1].

Play [fig5] and INSTEAD of [fig6] play THIS:
e|---------[FIG7]
B|---------
G|--7------
D|--7------
A|--5(..)--
E|---------
   'Comeon ...

...and an altered version of [fig4]:
e|-----------------------------------[FIG8]
B|-----------------------------------
G|-----------------------------------
D|--9---------------11-------12------
A|--9---------------11-------12------
E|--7(..)------------9(..)---10(..)--
'You loved me be-fore' 'Do ....

Continue with [fig1] while singing the word: '..now'

We almost reached the end! Just play another altered version of [fig4]:
e|----------------------------------[FIG9]
B|----------------------------------
G|----------------------------------
D|--9---------------11-------9------
A|--9---------------11-------9------
E|--7(..)------------9(..)---7(..)--
   'You loved me be-....

End at:
e|-----[FIG10]
B|-----
G|-----
D|--7--
A|--7--
E|--5--
 '..now'

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

2-/-9	= slide from 2 UP to 9
( is of course slide DOWN)
(..)	= didn't feel like typing the same thing over and over again
xxx	= play strings muted

SOME NOTES:
The distorted guitar-part in figure 5 and 6 is a bit more complex than the
original version. That's because the Breeders use two guitars which play
basically the same chords. To get closer to the original, with only ONE
guitar, i've add some of the second guitar to this TAB, where the two
 guitars differed.

I might have forgotten a part, or wrote untrue facts, but i've partly
put this together NOT listening to the music and NOT using my guitar.
Typo's or uncorrect English are also one of my specializations.
 Don't bother okay.

I use this kind of noise while playing:
As much bass as my amp can handle, a bit more treble than usual, not too
much mids. The gain button at 4 or 5.

As you probably noticed, the Breeders' songs are very easy to play.
I only tried 'I Just Wanna Get Along', 'No Aloha', 'Do You
Love Me Now', 'Cannonball' and 'Divine Hammer' yet...
If you are interested in more Breeders tab's, just ask.
