My very first tab! Since theres a severe lack of Promise Ring tabs, especially from
their best album, ive decided to take it upon myself and tab out as many as I can.
the songs are bit harder to tab out than the usual punk type song due to the Lofi sound,
some of the notes hard to hear. The band's a huge fan of power chords and octaves, which
it easier. But enough of me, onto the tab!

Starts off with light pick scraping and feedback and then:
*Note: I cant tab the rhythm well, but its not that hard to figure out.*

Guitar 1 Intro
e-------------------------------------------------------|
B-------------------------------------------------------|
G-------------------------------------------------------|
D--10---10-----10101010-----101010------10101010--------| x2
A--10---10-----10101010-----101010------10101010--------|
E--8----8------8-8-8-8------8-8-8-------8-8-8-8---------|

The Drums, moog pedal thing, and bass kick in here
Guitar 1 verse (or part 1)
e-------------------------------------------------------|
B-------------------------------------------------------|
G-------------------------------------------------------|
D--10---10-----10101010-----101010------101010(10)------| x2
A--10---10-----10101010-----101010------101010(10)------|
E--8----8------8-8-8-8------8-8-8-------8-8-8-(8)-------|

The second time instead of playing the C in the parenthesis, youll go straight to the E
e--------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------|
G--------------------------------------------|
D--2---2----222-------5--555---555-----------|
A--2---2----222-------3--555---555-----------|
E--0---0----000-------3--333---333-----------|

and then back to verse. Play that 5 times in its entirety. 6th time around, theres the
break, so play the G (355xxx) once, and then go back to verse. Now play verse 4 times.
4th time around, instead of playing the E and G as you would do normally, strum
8th notes, like so (call this part 2):

e--------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------|
G--------------------------------------------|
D--22222222----55555555----------------------|
A--22222222----55555555----------------------|
E--00000000----33333333----------------------|

Now comes the octave "solo" as ill call it. A bit hard to hear, but its there, listen
Guitar 1 plays the regular verse 3 times, the third time playing the E and G in 8th notes
done in part 2. Guitar two plays this the 2nd and 3rd time. Again, cant tab rhythm, not
hard to figure out. :

Guitar 2
e--------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------|
G---12-12-12---10--9999--9--9999-------------|
D--------------------------------------------| x5
A---10-10-10---8---7777--7--7777-------------|
E--------------------------------------------|

Guitar 2 ends when Guitar 1 plays the E and G 8th notes. Now comes the last part of the
Again, its essentially the same, only with a second "solo" and a slightly different
at one part. Guitar 1, after playing the 8th notes, now plays the C chord in continuous
notes for about 4 measures, like such:

e--------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------|
G--------------------------------------------|
D--1010101010101010--------------------------| x4
A--1010101010101010--------------------------|
E--8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8---------------------------|

and then goes back to the part 1 verse. Guitar 1 plays it 4 times, and Guitar 2 has a
the 3rd and 4th time.

Second "solo":

e--------------------------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------------------------|
G---/12-12-121212--10-1010--9-99---/12-12-121212 10-1010--9-99-|
D--------------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------|

e--------------------------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------------------------|
G----7-7-777--9-99--7-77---------------------------------------|
D--------------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------|

e--------------------------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------------------------|
G---/12-12-121212--10-1010--9-99---/12-12-121212 10-1010--9-99-|
D--------------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------|

e--------------------------------------------------------------|
B--------------------------------------------------------------|
G----7-7-777--9-99--4-44---------------------------------------|
D--------------------------------------------------------------|
A--------------------------------------------------------------|
E--------------------------------------------------------------|

Guitar 1 now plays the verse with staccato for one complete time, and then plays the C
like this:

e-------------------------------------------|
B-------------------------------------------|
G-------------------------------------------|
D--10---10-----10101010---------------------|
A--10---10-----10101010---------------------|
E--8----8------8-8-8-8----------------------|

And thats it! Again, this is my first tab, so if its hard to understand, im sorry. Im
on some other ones, from the promise ring and other bands, so anyone have any questions or
feel free to email me, i'd greatly appreciate it.
