The Lime Tree Tab by Trevor Hall, Footnote at the bottom for whoever cares to read it Intro/Verse C G Am E-----------5-| A---3---5-----| D-------------| G-----------0-| B---3---0-----| e-------------| Verse 1 I spark a match and watch the candle burn The wick runs out and then love takes its turn On fallin angels and broken sounds We will last past the final round Chorus C G Am C G It took a while for you to find me Am I was hiding in the lime tree C G Above the city in the rain cloud Am I poked a hole and watched it drain out E-------------| A---3---------| D-------------| G-------------| B---3/5/8--0--| e-------------| Verse 2 Parallel to the city streets Are broken crowns beneath our feet As we walk across the diamonds We know that love is always shining Verse 3 So save me love save me all the time e---8------7--5---3 I'll wash you down with a simple sip of wine Toast my glass to all my loved ones e---8----7----5------3 To let them know that the stars they still shine Chorus x6 Intro/Verse I spark a match and watch the candle burn The wick runs out and then love takes its turn On fallin angels and broken sounds We will last past the final round Since there is a Capo it changes the pitch of each chord so the C,G,and Am realtive to Cap are really E,B,and A. Just play it like standrad chords and it sounds perfect. This exactly how Trevor plays it, I just did not tab all of the riffs that he throws in. I a couple of them so you could build off of it, you will hear them when you are to the song. Godspeed to all who play this song, pretty easy. Check out some more Hall music, he is great!
