Tuning: Capo on 3* Time: 4/4 Chords: (Relative to the capo) G - 320003 C - X32010 D - XX0232 *I am fairly certain about the capo position mainly because of the sound of the D chords on Van's guitar. Okay, let's start! Intro: G (2 bars) C (2 bars) G (2 bars) D (2 bars) * *at this point Van plays a little suspended-chord run on his E string as most folk players would at this point. Mess about with the third fret, second fret, and open frets. Now many people will be wondering what the harpsichord is playing. Mostly it is arpeggios, especially towards the ending - F D Bb for the G chord, for example (obviously, the harpsichord is playing in B flat). It can be easily copied on a guitar with some simple fingerpicking that I will not go into here. Verses: G (4 bars) C (4 bars) G (2 bars) C (2 bars) G (8 bars) * C (4 bars) G (2 bars) C (2 bars) D (4 bars) C (4 bars) G (4 bars) repeated... *sometimes at this point Van plays a few bars of D instead, followed by less than six bars of G. Coda: G (2 bars) C (2 bars) And that's all! Send me an email at pulpalittlesoul@yahoo.com if you'd like more information. Visit www.directtabs.com for more tabs.
