*Prior to The Bachelors' version, this song had been a number 1 hit for Tommy Borsey in 1937 -- a version which returned as #16 in 1938. It had first charted in 1929 by Rudy Vallee (#2), Nat Shilkret (#9) and Franklyn Bauer (#15). The Four Tunes also reached #13 with their version in 1953.
