Dntel - "(This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan"

Standard E A D G B E tuning tuned down
1/2 step (Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb)

Chords:
A - [x02220 or 577600]
D - [x57700 or x00232]
C#- [x46600 or 9x9900]
F#- [x44200 or 244x00]

Intro: [A, D, C#, F#] x2

A D
it was familiar to me, the smoke too thick to breathe

C# F#
the tile floors glistened, I slowly sipped my drink

A D
and when he started to sing, you spoke with broken speech

C# F#
that I could not understand, and then you grabbed me tightly

A F#
I won't let go, I won't let go

A F#
even if you say so, oh no

A F#
I've tried and tried with no results

A F#
I won't let go, I won't let go

Interlude: [A, F#] x2 [A, D, C#, F#] x1

A D
he then played every song from 1993

C# F#
the crowd applauded as he curtsied bashfully

A D
your eyelashes tickled my neck with every nervous blink

C# F#
and it was perfect until the telephone started

A D
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

C# F#
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

A D
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

C# F#
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

A D
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

C# F#
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

A D C#
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

F# A
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

D C# F#
ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing, ringing off

I don't know how you should end the song.
I'd recommend ending either on an A or F#.
I doubt you'd want to keep repeating the "ringing" part though.
Without the background drums and beats it gets really repetitive.
I'd just mess around with it for a bit and see what happens.
