# From: albright@cbmvax.cbm.commodore.com (Bob Albright - Product Assurance) Subject: Lyrics and chords Hi, You'll find the chords here with the lyrics for Jack-A-Lynn, and Down At The End Of Your Road. You may want to compare these lyrics to others to see the missing words. The -> shows which line and [ ] shows the lyrical chance. Ian plays many of his songs using a capo on the 3rd, 5th, and sometimes even the 7th fret. Mother Goose on the album was done on the 5th, but on last tour I noticed he had moved it down to the 3rd. Most likely because of his vocal-cord problem. On Jack-A-Lynn the song is done on the 5th. Above the lyrics are the actual chord names, but with the capo on the 5th fret for example a G is shaped like an open D chord without the capo. Also, these are just the chords printed and not all the hammering of the pull-ups and pull-downs, positionings, and the leads that Ian or Martin uses. Maybe someday I'll work out a tablature to show some of the hammering that Ian uses and pass it on the St. Cleve.
