From: wvaughan@magnus.acs.ohio-state.edu (William Vaughan) Subject: CRDs to Lloyd Cole's Love Story (all) Date: 15 Dec 1995 19:02:09 GMT Here are all the tracks to Lloyd Coles most recent album, Love Story. Enjoy Trigger Happy by Lloyd Cole From Love Story This one is really simple as soon as you get the fingerpicking pattern down, which isn't too hard. Sometimes in the verse, Lloyd strums the Asus4 (or plucks it with his fingers) instead of doing the picking pattern. Music theory people will notice the major in the verse and a turn to the minor in the chorus -enjoy. Love Ruins Everything Capo 4th fret This one is a little tricky to get the timing right - if you play along with the album it should come quickly. If tabbed out the verse and prechorus as I play it and it sounds pretty good. The Spanish like guitar part in front I haven't tabbed out, but if you mess around with it, its not hard. I like to play this one with my fingers and pluck the strings instead of using a pick also - allows for greater control over the strings. chords not tabbed D xx0232 C x32010 Dm xx0231 Dsus2 xx0230 C/B x22010 D5 xx023x Am x02210 Intro and verse riff D Bm (strum) Em7 (strum) D* -----2---5---2--------------------0------------2--0----0------ -----3---3---3-----3--------------3------------3--3--3-3------ -------------------4--------------0------------0--0--2-0------ -0--------------------------------2------------0-----0-0------ -------------------2--------------2--------------------------- ----------------------------------0--------------------------- *verse 1* D Bm hey... F#m now .. A and if ... E well i'd ... F#m B D now .. F#m (fade into "Lets Get Lost") now .... --------- Let's Get Lost On this one, hit the bass note, then the rest of the chord. Letters not capitalized represent single notes on the 6th string. For the walk up at the end of a stanza, use the G# as the bass note in the bass note chord pattern. Also, for the E, the strum is much shorter, to allow time for the walk up. There may also be a second guitar, playing the bass notes an octave higher to fill out the arrangement. *Capo 2nd fret* Chords E/G# 422100 E/G 322100 E/F# 222100 (or 2x2100) E 022100 F#m 244222 G#m 466444 *Intro* E/G# E/G E/F# E e f# g g# *Verse 1* E/G# E/G lucy jumped ...
