Lake Shore Drive
By Aliota, Haynes, & Jeremiah

Now I played these chords along with this ass-kickin' song and it sounded
identical. It is a crying shame that 'LSD' has not been "tabbed out" (or
whatever) before, because it is probably the only good piece of music to come
from this great city since Robert Johnson's, "Sweet Home Chicago." I am not to
sure about the [G/B] part...in fact I only included to make me look more
advanced. If anybody has the piano music to this I would love a copy, so please
Email and we could work something out. Email me and tell me how grateful you are
for the tabbing out of this masterpiece. All of you are forever in my debt.
kidding...only about that last part though. (Jrt88888888@yahoo.com) (There are
eight (8)'s in the address).

Verse 1;
There’s a [G] road I’d like to [Em] tell you about, [Bm] lives in my home [C]
town
[G] Lake Shore Drive the [Em] road is called and it’ll [Bm] take you up or down
From [C] rags on up to [G] riches fifteen [Em] minutes you can [C] fly
[G] Pretty blue lights [Em] along the way, [C] help you right on [G] by
And the [G] blue lights shining with a [Em] heavenly grace,[C] help you right on
[G] by

CHORUS;
And there [C] ain't no road [Bm] just like it
[C] Anywhere I [Bm] found
[G] Running [G/B] south on [Em] Lake Shore Drive [C]heading into [G]town
[G]Just slippin’ on [G/B] by on [Em] LSD, [C] Friday night trouble [G] bound

///This song just repeats the above chord progression throughout. So simple yet
so damn catchy! When I get to the part in the song where the pianist starts
banging away the solo, I just start speed-strumming the barred chords (G-Em-Bm)
like I'm on 900mg of ephedrine, and it sounds pretty darn close to that
mind-blowing piano part.///

Verse 2;
And it starts up north from Hollywood, water on the driving side
Concrete mountains rearing up, throwing shadows just about five
Sometimes you can smell the green if your mind is feeling fine
There ain’t no finer place to be, than running Lake Shore Drive
Chorus;

Verse 3;
And it’s Friday night and you’re looking clean, to early to start the rounds
A ten minute ride from the Gold Coast back make sure you’re pleasure bound
And it’s four o’clock in the morning and all of the people have gone away
Just you and your mind and Lake Shore Drive, tomorrow is another day
And the sunshine’s fine in the morning time, tomorrow is another day
Chorus

This is my first tabbing out of a song for OLGA and it feels great to give back
to a service that I have gotten so much from. Thank you to everyone that has
taken the time to tab any song and has shared it with others. Goddamn this song
is awesome!!!!!
