These are the lyrics to a parody of Alabama's 'Cheap Seats'. This
version is written by Tom Batchelor.

Our sound ain't big, our sound ain't small,
But we're very proud to say
Our choir is the worst in the league
And you can bet it's there to stay!
We sing at concerts or in local bars
Or even in a ditch.
We go off key all by ourselves,
"Hey you, a deaf man could've heard that pitch!"

(Chorus)
We like our C's flat as can be,
We like our breath tainted with relish.
We've got a great tenor, "What's His Name",
No we can't even spell it.
We don't worry 'bout our audience much,
We just love to see them cringe with every note.
There's nothing like the sound from our choked throats!

Now when we're feeling down or just feel like it
There's this local band we like to sing with.
You know, that band that plays at bars,
They've got a sound that's kinda like ours!
They're really bad, they sure aren't good,
But all in all it's understood
They want to play,
We want to sing,
We wouldn't give it up for anything!

We like our C's flat as can be,
We like our breath tainted with relish.
We've got a great tenor, Frydenlund
No we can't even spell it.
We don't worry 'bout our audience much,
We just like to see them cringe with every note.
There's nothing like the sound from our choked throats!

Choked throats!

Now the big guys sent us some singers that
Were far better than any we've ever had.
And suddenly we're practicing,
And people are saying "Hey they can sing!"
But I'll always miss the horrifying sound
From the middle of our little throats.
The no-name tenor,
The local band,
Breath tainted
With relish
And all the bad notes!

(Chorus)

Choked Throats!

Khaaa - PEEEEEEW!!
"And he spits it, and it's
Going, Going, GOING,
Could be, IT IS!
Right in the face!
