Shock (Living Without You) - Cartman
Tabbed by Dan Bui

ok ppl, i liked this song so well, that i decided to go and tab every part except for drums,

the reason i did this was so my band could play it, but now i guess i should share this song with every1 since no1 has tabbed
it on the internet, (that i can find).

Ive separated the parts up, Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, and Bass, which is the rhythm guitarist doesnt have to read and
ignore the lead parts while playing but the lead guitar has to play some of the rhythm guitar parts...if that makes sense

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LEAD GUITAR (Intro)

E|-----------------------------------
B|--12--17--15--17--15 (repeat 4x)--8
G|-----------------------------------
D|-----------------------------------
A|-----------------------------------
E|-----------------------------------

LEAD GUITAR (between verses)

E|---------------------------------| repeat as needed
B|---------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------|
D|---5--3--5--3--5-----------------|
A|------------------5--3--5--3--5--|
E|---------------------------------|

LEAD GUITAR during prechorus (where he sings "here we go" up till b4 he starts "its been a shock shock living without u...)
During this, just play 8 and 6 on the B string.
somtimes it plays 8 x 3 then 6 x 5 repeated, i think the last prechorus it just does 8x of each

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RHYTHM GUITAR plays this for the (Intro, Verses, Chorus) LEAD GUITAR plays this only for the (Verses)
The parts for these are just made up of three chords

  Chord 1 Chord 2 Chord 3
E|---3------6---------8------|
B|---3------6---------8------|
G|---4------7---------9------|
D|---5------8---------10-----|
A|---5------8---------10-----|
E|---3------6---------8------|

During the song the progression of the chords with strumming is
< means strum down, > means strum up

< < < > < > < >
1 1 1 2 2 3 3 3

RHYTHM GUITAR (Prechorus), u can do watever strumming feels comfortable

2 2 2 1 1 1 1 1, then same as verse. repeat until

RHYTHM GUITAR (Chorus) LEAD GUITAR (Chorus) he starts singing "its been a shock shock living without u"
then it goes like this

2 2 2 2 1 1 1 1

then RHYTHM GUITAR goes back to main progression and LEAD GUITAR goes to the "between verses" part.

RHYTHM GUITAR (Bridge) LEAD GUITAR (Bridge)

for the bridge, just individually play the notes of the three main chords, and u should try playing it with the song so u
when to move up chords
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BASS

thru out the entire song, the BASS just plays the bottom note of the RHYTHM GUITAR, so it just plays

G|-------------| Those three notes from the RHYTHM chords, with the same progression as the RHYTHM, except for bridge where
D|-------------| it just plays main progression
A|-------------|
E|---3---6---8*| *(this can also be played as 3 on the A string, but it looks cooler if u move ur hand up the guitar)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Order of Song (i think)

Intro
Verse
Verse
Prechorus
Chorus
Verse
Prechorus
Chorus
Bridge
Prechorus
Chorus
Outro (Lead plays inbetween, and rhythm plays main progression)
