(Drop D tuning. If you dont want to drop it. Then just move all of my
notes up a step.
So the riffs start on the 9th fret instead of the 7th.)
x = mute and slap.
p = pull off
h = Hammer on

Note: This song sounds best, played with one person doing the bass line. The
other focussing on lead.
But it can be done on one guitar, it just gets tricky to get the
timing down. If so,
Play the bass line, with just your right hand. Pluck it with your
thumb (and the pick)
and then slap it with the the front nail of your pointer finger on the
mute parts.
Pluck the lead parts with your middle finger. With a bit of
practice it becomes easy.

Lyrics

    Intro.

Bass Line.

Riff1

  Riff1
Seasons change
People rearrange
Powerful remain In vain
While the slaves built the train
Can you refrain from the color of pain?

  Riff2
Refined crimes
Built from corporate minds
Close the blinds
When the ozone layer reclines
Find a warrior in self
Celtic Kilt
Flowers wilt
Hand on the hilt
Ready to kill

   Riff2
For a pill
That just don^Òt work
Streets are berserk
What^Òs power worth If the planet burst?
Vampire^Òs thirst
Who hit first
Who hit worse?
Riff3
Power^Òs cursed because Slavery works
Diamond rings killed more blacks
Than apartheid
History hides behind white lies
And vacant eyes look surprised
Then stop the demise!

   Riff1
Organized crime.
Read between the lines.
Artificial mind.
Telling you to be one of a kind.
If you stop and find the worlds not yours or mine.
We're living in the wrong time.
Sitting pretty living on a land mine.

   Riff1
What^Òs a piece of land if he wasn^Òt there to claim it.
What^Òs another mountain
If he wasn^Òt there to name it.
Colonizers colonized a world but can^Òt sustain it.
Another village plundered
And its you and I who maimed it.

   Riff2
Spinning in the underground
Caught in the turbine.
Revolution lingering until we stop and rewind.
Driving forward blindfolded
Not looking behind.
History repeats itself
Our negligence is a crime.

   Riff2
Billboard
Image hoard
By corporate lord
What you can^Òt afford
Lest you buy it in a store
People want more
Market the encore
Bow to the floor
In a hallway of nothing

  Riff3
Over-consumption
A socially accepted function
True trickle down effect
>From the corporate luncheon

   Riff3
Loveless
Heartless
Plastic chest
Never mess With a tax paid Bullet-proof vest
Gun blast
Tear gas
React to react
Retract
Cycle repeat

   Riff1
Powerful defeat People on their feet
People always reap what the powerful sow
Powerful always keep what the people grow

   Riff2
Planet unique
Mother nature weep
On her garden sheet
We all sheep
Never sleep
Only rest
Fuck the best
Ready for the test
Life^Òs an interest
Riff2
Planet unique
Mother nature weep
On her garden sheet
We all sheep
Never sleep
Only rest
Fuck the best
Ready for the test
Life^Òs an invest
Freedom is the interest
Riff3
Corporate conquest
Communities^Ò unrest
A genetically modified mess
Are you ready for the test?

   Riff1
You stigmatize your own demise.
Innocence dies.
Sound the militant drum roll.
See blood red skies. Apartheid rise.
Hear the children^Òs cries.
Hail Industry thrives.

   Riff1
The profit's made.
Resistance slayed.
Another genocide.
And the rich man's paid.
Front page news today.
playing a global sherade.
Send troops tomorrow,
Just another band aid.

   Riff1
Media stimulate
Recreate
Regurgitate
I pause
And meditate
I can^Òt wait or hesitate
Get power to moderate
Hand-shake
Media Vacate
People awake
NEVER SEPARATE!

   Riff3
Communicate
Educate
Orchestrate
To Innovate
a global debate
over food power and hate
Let it dissipate
To recreate
Heaven^Òs place

   Riff3
Rejuvenate
Local landscape
TO STIMULATE A NEW FATE

   Riff1
Communicate
Educate
Orchestrate
To Innovate
a global debate
over food power and hate
Let it dissipate
To recreate
Heaven^Òs place
