First of all guitarists Clint Lowery and Troy McLawhorn play this song in a low tuning of Bb F Bb Eb G Bb so heavy gauge strings are needed to perfectly recreate their sounds. Many of Lowery's riffs on this track are very similar to ones he played while with Sevendust.
