======================================

I remember hearing this song a while back when Shawn played on some show live

and did two songs, Lagavulin and It's So Bad Tonight. When I first heard the song

I was hooked, although he was playing a nylon string guitar and it was very hard

for me to understand what he was playing. Thankfully, Rained Out Parade has come

out with this song released on it. YEAA, well here it is tabbed out for you.

This sounds almost PERFECT to the recorded song. 99.9 % I really went indepth with

the look and feel of this song. I feel it's one of Shawn's best ballad's.

This is a little sketchy. He's doing his little fingering again.

This gives you the idea perfectly though and this way is great

to try and finger pick. Feels good!

If your not sure about this one, just play the chords. It still

works fine.

BRIDGE

======================================

D | G | Em | A | D | G | Em | A | A9 root F#

0   3   0    0   0   3   0    0   x

3   3   0    2   3   3   0    2   2

2   0   0    2   2   0   0    2   3

0   0   2    2   0   0   2    2   2

x   2   2    0   x   2   2    0   x

x   3   0    x   x   3   0    x   2

I didn't bother looking into the bridge anymore. He's got some effects running while doing

a chord pattern here. These chords should tide you over for it though.

SOLO (Slide Guitar)

\ = slide down

* = vibrato

This solo is 100% perfect

*** After solo, play the bit of the verse, then go into Pre-Chorus Part I b

OUTRO SOLO

======================================

Play this over the end of the song when he is singing the chorus a few times

LYRICS

======================================

Let me slide in your direction

Let me poke you full of holes

Let me mimic your inflections

Let me strike up all your poses

Let me curse you with my sickness

Let me cure you with my love

Add my randomness and chaos to the things that you're sure of

Who do I think that I'm foolin'

With my weed and wine and lagavulin

It'll never come out right

When I get with you tonight

And I wonder what the hell it is I'm doing

Let me show you what I'm good for

Let me find out what you're not

Let me piece it all together

From the things that I forgot

Let me hold on to this picture that you cut yourself out of

Let me paste a perfect copy

On the the track marks of our love

Maybe I'll be alright

Who do I think that I'm foolin'

With my weed and wine and lagavulin

It'll never come out right

When I get with you tonight

And I wonder what the hell it is I'm doing

Please snap out of it

Just snap out of it

Please step out of it

Just walk away from it

Please snap out of it

Just snap out of it

Please walk away

You're not fooling anyone

Maybe I'll be okay

But in an hour or so I won't know what to say

Choking on the details

And there's screaming everywhere

'Til the blown out voices whisper

Maybe you're not even there

Oh maybe I'll be okay,

But in an hour or so I won't know what to say

Who do I think that I'm foolin'

With my weed and wine and lagavulin

It'll never come out right

When I get with you tonight

And I wonder what the hell it is I'm doing

Who do I think that I'm foolin'

And I wonder what the hell it is I'm doing

Who do I think that I'm foolin'

And I wonder what the hell it is I'm doing
